Hogar Home Décor originally opened under the name Nijar Home Décor on Oct 4, 2003. Anthony Costa decided to open a store in area of South Riverdale known as Leslieville to fill a niche in the local area. “It was always frustrating to me that I had to go to other areas of the city to buy gifts or cards. I couldn’t just walk around the corner!”.
